Composed of 4 songs, the record wraps you in a warm hug while making you cry at the same time. We took a listen to ‘Not Strong Enough’ and needed a few moments to cry before we could carry on. Who doesn’t love artists that make you cry?
We are at a loss for words when it comes to the talent boygenius possesses. Whoever got the idea to put Julien Baker, Phoebe Bridgers, and Lucy Dacus in the same room, we here at The Honey POP owe you our lives. Riah
Riah is the type of artist that is impossible not to love. Her voice is like honey, and no, we’re not just saying that because of our brand. She’s got such a smooth way of singing that we cannot get enough of. Her newest release, ‘can’t lose you now,’ has been playing through our speakers nonstop since it hit Spotify, and we are not ashamed.
Not only is her voice absolutely mesmerizing, but so is her songwriting. The theme of this week’s Rising Star Roundup seems to be songs that take up our entire brains while they play. Her songs command your attention, making it the only thing you can think about for the entire 3 minutes. We applaud her skills, and we would love some more music!

Abby Simone, tell us how you do it? Tell us how you released ‘For Once,’ a song that makes us feel so many things. We’re not sure if we want to dance, cry, lay on the ground in the fetal position, or somehow try to manage all three. This song is absolutely breathtaking, and so are you!

We know that we’ve talked about Mimi Webb in Rising Star Roundup before, but we don’t think you’re hearing us. This woman has talent for days, and we’re making our way to the head of her fan club! Remember her song ‘House on Fire?’ Well, she’s released a new album; and you guessed it, ‘House on Fire’ is on it!
Mimi Webb’s debut album, Amelia, is full to the brim of bops and bangers! One thing is for sure, she is making 2023 the year of Mimi, and we are absolutely here for it. One thing to know about us here at The Honey POP is that we’re quite obsessed with Eurovision. So when we heard Andrew Lambrou was going to be participating, we were stoked. His entry song, ‘Break a Broken Heart,’ is filled with such passion and emotion! We simply cannot think of a better way to enter the contest!
This coming May, Andrew will be representing Cyprus, and we’re definitely going to be cheering him on. We love a good song competition, so this just gives us more incentive.
