Okay, guys, we like to play it cool, but this might just be one of the best Fresh Music Friday lineups of the year so far! From Lewis Capaldi to Bella Dose to Laura Marano, there is something for every playlist!
Jake Brewer – ‘Sweetly’
We are kicking off Fresh Music Friday with the newest offering from Jake Brewer! ‘Sweetly’ is a homerun of a track. The track is exactly what we were looking for to add to our playlists going into the summer, a perfect song to play on a car ride with the windows down, screaming the words.

Babygirl – Be Still My Heart
It’s official, Be Still My Heart is one of our favorite projects of the year so far! The entire EP felt like we were, with each track, discovering music that was going to be a permanent fixture in our lives. From our favorite track, ‘Me, You & My Car’ to ‘Starlight,’ Babygirl is a group that everyone needs in their lives.

Eden Rain – ‘Crumb’
Eden Rain is no stranger to Fresh Music Friday. We are always here to talk about her newest tracks! ‘Crumb’ comes right before the release of Eden’s debut (!!!!) EP, Gutter Vision, which we can’t wait to dissect with you! This track is the best of indie pop and feels totally singular to Eden Rain, which is a hard feat nowadays.

Aidan Bissett – ‘Out Of My League’
Aidan Bissett is one of the artists that has been the most fun for us to watch transform into a complete pop star. We’ve known since our first listen that he was something special, and ‘Out Of My League’ could show anyone why that is. We are getting major early Wallows vibes from this track, which couldn’t be a higher compliment.

Lewis Capaldi – ‘Wish You The Best’
This Fresh Music Friday, we declare Lewis Capaldi never misses. We get on here with each of his new releases and praise the fact he’s one of the best singer-songwriters in the industry today, and we’re here to do that again with ‘Wish You The Best!’ ‘Wish You The Best’ showcases what powerful vocal abilities Lewis Capaldi possesses and that his relationship with his own just keeps getting stronger as time goes on.
We can already tell that Lewis’s upcoming album, Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent, is going to emotionally ruin us, but that’s okay. We are always in the market for a good cry.

Cassadee Pope – ‘People That I Love Leave’
We first fell in love with Cassadee Pope on The Voice, but now she’s a full-blown rockstar, and we are here for every moment of it! ‘People That I Love Leave’ taps into that internal fear that so many of us have about abandonment, and that’s backed by an upbeat, almost 2000s-sounding pop track. Cassadee Pope is one to watch.

ROSIE – ‘Someone You Once Had’
ROSIE has been a long-time favorite of ours. She’s able to convey emotions in her music that feels plucked straight from our emotions that sometimes feel indescribable. We could all use a bit of healing, so we are ready for the much-needed cry that this track brings.

Eloise – Drunk On A Flight
One thing about us here on Fresh Music Friday, we will always support a debut album! This week’s debut album comes to us from Eloise with her Drunk On A Flight. ‘Vanilla Tobacco’ and ‘Giant Feelings’ are our standout tracks from the record. Truly this body of work could turn anyone into an Eloise stan.

Laura Marano – ‘Boundaries’
Laura Marano is the moment. She’s gone from someone we grew up watching on our screen to a staple on our playlists, and the music just keeps getting better! ‘Boundaries’ is a pop masterpiece, layered with such incredible lyrics that show such vulnerability that draws us listeners closer to Laura.
