Busted And Neck Deep Create Pop-Punk Magic With ‘Meet You There 2.0’

Is it 2023? Are we sure? We think we might need pinching, because this is one thing that we did not see coming this year! Busted have continued their 20th-anniversary celebrations by teaming up with Neck Deep to release a brand new version of their iconic acoustic pop anthem, ‘Meet You There.’ Yes, that’s right! It doesn’t feel real, does it? As huge fans of both bands, we are screaming with delight!

‘Meet You There 2.0’ arrives with a massive pop-punk punch and a raging amount of nostalgia that we can’t get enough of. Busted really are providing us with everything we could’ve asked for with their 20th-anniversary. This new version of the track is sure to be one that we all come back to again and again. We’re so obsessed with this version!

The original was an acoustic ballad, and this new version is a balls out, rock explosion! We are also so happy to have done this with Neck Deep. Ben sounds awesome on it, and what is extra special is he told me this was one of his fave Busted songs when he was growing up.

Can you believe the original version, ‘Meet You There,’ was originally available back in 2003 on Busted’s second studio album, A Present For Everyone? To be able to hear it again in a reimagined way fills us with an endless amount of joy. If Busted were to team up with anyone to reinvent one of their fan favorites, we sure are glad they chose Neck Deep. They’re the perfect pop-punk dream team!

It’s kind of a full circle moment for myself and Seb especially. When we were like 8 and 10 years old, my big sister took us to see Busted in Manchester Arena, and that was the first show we ever went to. Fast forward 20 years, and I’m featuring on my favorite song of theirs! Wild.
