This was an insane year for collabs and for us as your local music fanatics. It seems like every few weeks a new one dropped that had us losing our minds all over again. So when we think about all the collabs we want to see next year, we honestly start foaming at the mouth a little bit. There are so many insane collabs that not only do we need, but society needs. So let’s not waste any more time and start looking at all the collabs we’re actively manifesting for 2024!

Hear us out; what if ‘exile‘ or ‘evermore’ had Hozier on them? Don’t get us wrong, we love Bon Iver’s voice. But from the moment we thought of what it would be like to hear these two on a track that exudes some Unreal, Unearth energy, we have been going absolutely feral.

Maisie Peters x BASTILLE
The idea of getting a BASTILLE banger with Maisie’s ethereal vocals on the track genuinely is something we could and would lose our minds over. From the moment Dan showed Maisie some love when The Good Witch went Number One in the UK, we knew we needed this. We also know BASTILLE are about to head back into the studio (if they haven’t already). So the timing could not be more perfect!

You might be thinking, what an interesting collaboration. But actually, it’s the perfect one. Britney is our original Pop Princess, and every time she shows up to feature in another pop princess’s work, we lose our minds over it. For example, her collab with Miley Cyrus on BANGERZ, which we still listen to once a week at minimum. So her teaming up with one of the hottest new pop princesses on the scene is genuinely something of our dreams. And we honestly want a Britney-filled 2024 anyways, because she deserves it!

The Maine x KiNG MALA
Our 2023 has been spent obsessing over The Maine and KiNG MALA. Both of them have their own iconic flair that makes you want to listen to their albums on a loop. So when we think of what it would be like to get a track with both of them on it…well, yeah, we’re pretty stoked about the idea! We can already hear the beautiful way KiNG MALA and John O’Callagan’s voices would blend.

We lost our minds when these two toured together this year. And we thought that we might just get an insane collab out of it too. But if it was created, it has yet to see the light of day, unfortunately. So we’re going to keep our fingers crossed for it to come our way in 2024. We know PVRIS and POPPY just want to see us happy!
