Is this the most fun TOMORROW X TOGETHER era so far? It might be! MOA Twitter is vibing, the variety of content is next level, and TXT’s performances are better than ever. From performing ‘Deja Vu’ on The Kelly Clarkson Show, to TXT’s chaos on KStar Next Door, we’ve had so many iconic moments already! Here are some of our faves!
‘Deja Vu’ On The Kelly Clarkson Show
First off, the U.S. TV debut of ‘Deja Vu!’ TXT killed this performance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, and we swear we fall even more in love with this song every time we hear it. Kelly’s show is one of our faves thanks to how respectful she is to her guests (as well as her iconic covers, obviously), and we absolutely love Kelly introducing TXT as “One of the biggest K-pop groups on the planet.” We know that’s right!
Soobin, Beomgyu, & Taehyun On Gym Jongkook
Listen, we knew Taehyun would be in his element on Gym Jongkook, but we were impressed with Soobin and Beomgyu, too! Soobin gave it a good go despite being notoriously anti-working out, and Beomgyu lowkey impressed Jongkook. Whilst we’re busy mourning the end of Taehyun’s solo variety show, Taehyun’s Reincarnation Academy, this episode also got us more hyped for Beomgyu’s upcoming workout variety show!
Huening Kai On Lee Mujin’s Service
That’s our diamond maknae! Following Taehyun’s iconic episode of Lee Mujin’s Service last year, it was Huening Kai’s turn! From his solo version of ‘Deja Vu’ to his John Mayer cover, TXT’s youngest member blew us away.
‘Deja Vu’ On Studio Choom
The pioneers of Studio Choom’s BE ORIGINAL series are back! We always love TXT on Studio Choom, and with how difficult the choreography for ‘Deja Vu’ is, this performance is no exception! Their outfits are a style we haven’t seen so far in this era either, so they add a new dimension to an already iconic aesthetic.
TXT On KStar Next Door
Not even 20 seconds in, and Soobin is already saying things we’d never expect a K-Pop idol to say, ever. We don’t know how Jonathan and KStar Next Door get away with half the things they do, but we’re so glad it happens. This show is so in line with TXT’s [lowkey cursed] sense of humor, and we love that all five members made an appearance this time around!
TXT’s Comeback Showcase
If we had a dime for every time Soobin delicately held Yeonjun’s face during a comeback show, we’d have two dimes. Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened twice. As well as performances of ‘Deja Vu, ‘ISYTT,’ and ‘Miracle,’ we loved TXT playing games and recreating their favorite concept pictures during the Comeback Showcase.
‘Deja Vu’ And ‘I’ll See You There Tomorrow’ On MCountdown
And, lastly, we’ve got TXT’s first music show appearance for this era! Appearing on MCountdown, TXT performed both ‘Deja Vu’ and the coupling track ‘I’ll See You There Tomorrow.’ They slayed, as always, and we wanna take a moment to say how much we adore the ‘ISYTT’ choreography!
What’s Next?
The most exciting thing of all is that this era isn’t even close to ending yet! We’ve still got plenty more music show appearances on Music Core, Inkigayo, and Music Bank. And yes, we’re already manifesting wins when Beomgyu guest hosts Music Core, and one more win for MC Yeonjun before his reign hosting Inkigayo ends! As for variety content, we still have Idol Human Theater and Amazing Saturday to look forward to. Besides that, we have TXT’s first European performance at Music Bank Antwerp later this month!
