New Music Weekly: Halsey And More!

…And we’re back, baby! It’s a new year which means new music weekly is back! We are coming at you with five tracks to kick off the year that is currently blowing us away. From Halsey to Ella Henderson, we are starting 2022 off right! So let’s get into it!

Halsey – If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power (Extended)

Stream If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power (Extended) here!

Halsey is one of the biggest artists around right now! One listen to their newest edition of If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power, you’ll see why. Since the original release date, we’ve loved the record, but this extended edition is on a whole other level, just with ‘People Disappear Here’ alone. Then, when you add the ‘Nightmare (Reprise),’ it takes the whole album to another planet.

Elvis Costello – ‘Farewell, OK’

Stream ‘Farewell, OK’ here!

Obviously, Elvis Costello is an all-time great, that’s just a fact. Upon listening to ‘Farewell, OK,’ we became even more excited about the upcoming album, A Boy Named If, which is coming out on January 14th! The track is a mix of sounds that come together perfectly, we’re hoping to get more of this mix on the rest of the record.

Alison Wonderland – ‘Fear of Dying’

Stream ‘Fear of Dying’ here!

We are fully on board the Alison Wonderland train. ‘Fear Of Dying’ is the absolute perfect song to kick off her 2022 and to show the world that this will truly be her year. ‘Fear Of Dying’ is both written and produced by Alison, and is sure to be instantly relatable to anyone who listens. We can all relate to the fear of losing the people who mean something to us.

Ella Henderson – ‘Brave’

Stream ‘Brave’ here!

Ella Henderson is the moment. ‘Brave’ is kicking off her 2022, and on March 11th, we are getting an entire album, Everything I Didn’t Say. This track feels like the absolute perfect way to kick off an era, and we can tell just off first listen how much the track means to Ella. Truly an addition to new music weekly we can’t get enough of.

Royal & the Serpent – ‘PHUCKBOI REJECTS’

Royal & the Serpent is one of those artists whose individuality makes her stand out from the crowd. You can always tell a song is a Royal & the Serpent song as soon as it starts. That sort of familiarity is what gets fans hooked. So many of us have an unfortunate taste in men, so ‘PHUCKBOI REJECTS’ really hits home.

i mean listen, we’ve all got a type. deny it if you want but we like what we like. i just happen to like heart-breaking, vape-puffing, chain-wearing rejects. this particular breed of “phuckboi” is what got me into this whole mess in the first place. now here i am – lifeless and broken – ready to give you the best damn music i’ve ever written for you. yes, by that i mean – there’s more….are you ready for another one?
