It feels like only five minutes since Monsta X released The Dreaming. And in fact, we only got No Limit just before that! Yet MONBEBE are getting fed once again! Vocal powerhouse Kihyun is releasing his solo debut album on March 15th. The concept photos and mood sampler for VOYAGER have already blown our minds tbh, but here are some things we’re expecting from the album!

Tracklist
VOYAGER The 1st Single Album is, well, exactly that – a single album! So it will be made up of three tracks.
- ‘VOYAGER’
- ‘, (COMMA)’
- ‘RAIN’
VOYAGER will be the lead single from the album, and from the comeback schedule, it looks like we’ll be getting a music video for it too! Maybe most excitingly of all though, is that Kihyun is credited as a lyricist on COMMA, along with British singer-songwriter Etham as a composer. We’re really excited to see what direction this track in particular will take.
Concepts
So far, we’ve only had about half of the concept photos for this album, and we’re already stunned. Kihyun is clearly sticking with the nautical theme for his debut album – the two main concepts are ‘Voyager’ and ‘Somewhere.’ The color palette is so dreamy yet dark, and that mood sampler, oh boy.
Kihyun’s Covers
Every single MONBEBE knows just how incredible Kihyun’s vocals are, he’s truly one of the best in the industry! Some of our favorite things he’s done are his YouTube covers, and we’re wondering if the style of these is something we can expect from VOYAGER. Hmmm…
2021 was an incredible year for Kihyun and Monsta X, and if this is how we’re starting 2022, we can’t wait to see what is yet to come.
