KAMILLE is one of the most talented and prolific songwriters in the industry, and finally, we’re getting more solo music from her! After the incredible ‘Mirror Mirror,’ KAMILLE is back with her first single of 2022, ‘learning,’ and she’s teaching us all some valuable lessons.
If you’re not familiar with her yet, well, you are, but you just haven’t realized it! KAMILLE has written tracks for most of your favorite artists; from Dua Lipa to Stormzy to Zara Larsson to Clean Bandit. She might be most widely known though, to Mixers. KAMILLE has co-written more Little Mix songs than we can count, including: ‘Black Magic,‘ ‘Sweet Melody,’ ‘Boy,’ ‘Confetti,’ ‘Reggaetón Lento’ and ‘Power.’ And honestly, we’ve barely even made a dent in the full list.
KAMILLE is the pen behind so many of our favorite empowering singles, from Little Mix’s ‘Shout Out To My Ex,’ to Mabel’s ‘Don’t Call Me Up.’ Now, she’s giving us some more wise words on ‘learning!’ The track delves into the pressure of conforming to social media’s view of beauty. What we love about this song though, is that it’s not pessimistic! ‘learning’ is about the beauty of learning to love, trust, and be yourself!
This is exactly the kind of message we adore at THP HQ, and it only makes us love KAMILLE even more! We’re so happy KAMILLE is now getting to show us all her talents, after championing and helping other artists to do the same for so long. KAMILLE is one of the most successful women in the industry, so everybody better listen up!
