Jenna Raine – ‘Fumbled The Bag’
One thing about Jenna Raine, she is going to absolutely destroy us with the most relatable lyrics we’ve ever heard. ‘Fumbled The Bag’ follows the narrative of Jenna Raine pointing out that the guys who have lost her friends are the ones missing out. So many of us need to be in this mindset after breakups.
“You’re throwing matches on a flame, but you’re the one who burned it out when you left” like come on? We will be crying in the shower if you need us!

Alex Warren – ‘Headlights’ 
What Alex Warren has managed to do here on ‘Headlights’ is put feelings that we have never been able to, into words. The line “these days it’s so dark I can’t see with headlights,” broke us. That is such an honest look into what crippling anxiety or depression can manifest into. We couldn’t applaud Alex more for bearing his soul like this in his music, that kind of honesty will create fans that will last his whole career.

New rock trio alert!! If you’re into rock/pop-punk-esque music, We Demand Parachutes is for you! ‘Hungover You’ sounds like the exact song we want to be at a live show screaming the words to immediately. Is ‘Sting’ our favorite single from Girl of my Dreams (FLETCHER’s upcoming album) yet? It just might be! We think of ‘Sting’ as the older sadder sister to ‘Bitter,’ the vibes are very much the other end of a breakup where you’re still hung up, but maybe the other person isn’t.

We’ve got another perfect end-of-summer song here for you on New Music Weekly!
