These K-POP Music Videos Really Fit The Halloween Aesthetic

Halloween Music Videos

‘Tis the season to get spooky! Halloween is here, and if there’s one thing we know we can count on to get us in the mood, it’s K-POP. When these groups have a concept they commit, and with a number of dark concepts out there, there’s a ton of music videos that truly fit the Halloween aesthetic. So if you’re looking to amp up the vibes or add some visuals to your party, here are the best K-POP Halloween music videos.

‘Good Boy Gone Bad’ – Tomorrow X Together

The music video for ‘Good Boy Gone Bad’ has dark and mysterious elements that are perfect for Halloween. From the dark dim lighting and a dark color palette to the eerie locations such as graveyards at night and cryptic landscapes, there’s just an overall vibe that really makes for a Halloween-certified music video. The sharp and powerful movements blended into this mix really add to the intensity of the overall vibe. We honestly loved this era of TXT!

‘Blood, Sweat & Tears’ – BTS

When it comes to K-POP music videos for Halloween, of course we had to include BTS‘s iconic ‘Blood, Sweat & Tears!’ One of the biggest fan favorites, this music video has a lot of symbolism, using references to literature, mythology, and fine art and giving it a deeper meaning. There’s a lot of theming surrounding sins such as temptation and desire which are depicted in symbolic imagery and supernatural elements. From the angelic and devilish symbolism to the portrayal of temptation and desire, there are a lot of scenes that send shivers down your spine. No wonder ARMY loves it so much!

‘Zombie’ – Purple Kiss

Now, is it really any surprise that Purple Kiss‘s ‘Zombie’ made the list for our Halloween music videos? Taking place in a meat market during an apocalypse, the members of Purple Kiss have been transformed into zombies that ironically come to life at night and thrive in the undead world. The neon colors contrasting against the dark lighting give that classic Halloween aesthetic. Not to mention the casual organs thrown around such as the brains, hearts, and eyeballs. We love this more playful and light-hearted take which brings that camp element of Halloween that we truly enjoy.

‘Chase Me’ – Dreamcatcher

Now we’ll be honest: there were a number of music videos by Dreamcatcher that we could have used, but we ended up going with ‘Chase Me.’ The eerie vibes we get from this are truly enthralling and we love it! The video feels reminiscent of a horror movie with the video’s plot and the set looks bewitching, we would honestly want to visit here to explore. If they turned ‘Chase Me’ into a Netflix original, you can bet your backsides we’d be streaming the moment it released!

‘Bite Me’ – ENHYPEN

With a song like ‘Bite Me,’ it’s no surprise we could expect a dark atmospheric music video from ENHYPEN. What we love about this is that it strays away from the typical vampire costume style, but rather incorporates the elaborate fashion we’ve become familiar with in K-POP all while focusing on a gothic-like visual. The cinematography of the video further enhances the spooky vibe, with the use of low lighting, intense close-up shots, and rapid editing creating a sense of unease and suspense. A perfect Halloween music video. We’re honestly obsessed!

‘Married To The Music’ – SHINee

If you’re less into the gory horror aspect of Halloween and enjoy the more fun and friendly approach, then ‘Married To The Music’ is ideal for you. One of SHINee‘s most iconic music videos is full of bold costumes, comedic values and just all round fantastic vibes, the kind we maybe love the most this time of year! Is it creepy seeing the members getting beheaded and losing parts of their bodies? Well, yes, but it’s also done in such a funny manor that you can’t help crack a chuckle. Not to mention the choreo being so stimulating to watch, you can’t help but want to learn it and recreate it with your friends on the dancefloor.

‘TT’ – TWICE

Another K-POP classic that’s perfect for Halloween is TWICE‘s ‘TT.’ The music video is a colorful and playful visual extravaganza that combines elements of fantasy and Halloween. Each member also has an iconic Halloween costume that’s easy to recreate if you ever need inspo for an outfit, and it’s a pretty family-friendly, happy-go-lucky video that’s appropriate for the big family events if you’re ever looking for an excuse to inject some K-POP into the playlist!

‘MORE’ – j-hope

Having been mostly used to the bold and bright side of j-hope (dubbed as hobicore), it was really intriguing to see him take a dark turn with the Jack In The Box concept and the ‘MORE’ music video really fits those eerie vibes perfectly for K-POP Halloween aesthetics. j-hope’s alter ego, Jack, is a dark and mysterious character who definitely has some creepier elements to his persona. The scene at the hospital with the X-Ray and head contraption are peak Halloween horror vibes and we love seeing this side of j-hope that contrasts so much from the artist we’ve come to know over the past decade.

‘Maniac’ – Stray Kids

Another great K-POP music video that’s suitable for Halloween is Stray Kids‘s ‘Maniac.’ First, the luminous colors contrasting with the low lighting give that classic Halloween feel. Both the music video and the song reference Frankenstein’s monster, a classic character we’ve come to know and love. There’s also a lot of creepy visual effects that blend in really well with the costumes and choreography. It’s just an overall fun and thrilling video that we think ghouls across the world would approve of!

‘Dice’ – NMIXX

NMIXX‘s ‘DICE’ is such an enthralling music video that’s perfect for Halloween. Taking inspiration from the iconic Alice In Wonderland, this weird and wonderful music video is so aesthetically pleasing and really targets the fantasy aspect of Halloween. The trippy elements that pay homage to the famous novel feel magical, thrilling, and slightly uneasy, keeping you on your toes. We’ll be cannonballing down the rabbit hole if this is what’s underneath!

‘Oh My God’ by (G)I-DLE

We absolutely love how unnerving the music video for (G)I-DLE‘s ‘Oh My God’ is! The heaven and hell dynamic is a plot that had us engrossed in the video, and the macabre aesthetic is just so satisfying to watch. The use of contrasting colors, such as dark blues and purples against bright golds and whites, adds to the overall aesthetic of the video. The sets are elaborate and detailed, ranging from a grandiose hall to a mystical forest, enhancing the otherworldly atmosphere. Leave it to (G)I-DLE to deliver a masterpiece!
