Chances are, you’re already familiar with P1Harmony. They’re all over playlists and taking center stage at music festivals worldwide. So, if they’re not on your radar yet, they absolutely should be. Whether you’re just discovering them or already a dedicated fan, the internet is a good starting point. However, it can sometimes miss out on a few essential details, so connecting with fans is even better. That’s why we’re here to share our four favorite things about P1Harmony that may have slipped under your radar. Trust us; our list even includes how you could inspire a song written by P1Harmony themselves!
P1Harmony Made K-Pop Debut History With Movie P1H: The Beginning of a New World
P1Harmony made their debut through a full-length feature film, P1H: The Beginning of a New World. And this isn’t an ordinary short film. It’s an hour-and-a-half thriller! The movie is full of incredible acting by all the members, an original OST, and includes some famous faces. This is a spoiler-free zone, so we won’t dive into the details, but in short. The film unfolds the story of the P1Harmony members who are scattered across the past, present, and future. They go on a mission to rescue a world that is devastated by a virus. Along the way, each member possesses a unique superpower.
The movie is a fantastic introduction to the P1Harmony members and the world they created during their Disharmony era. The storyline continues throughout their first few albums, making it a must-watch!
Collaborations With Iconic Artists
Their collaboration with Pink Sweat$ started when Jiung revealed he was a huge fan and sang along to almost every Pink Sweat$ song on a live. The internet took notice, and before you knew it, Pink Sweat$ attended one of P1Harmony’s concerts. This was followed by an unbeatable collaboration (in our humble opinion). ‘Gotta Get Back’ by P1Harmony and Pink Sweat$ is full of silky vocals that ride a delicate beat. It’s an irresistibly catchy and truly timeless song.
Recently, P1Harmony teamed up with New Hope Club and gifted us our pop summer anthem! New Hope Club and P1Harmony have a great friendship, with both artists being the opening support act for each other on tour and even busking together in Korea. They quickly got to the studio and collaborated, giving us the gem ‘Super Chic.‘ We hope this is the beginning of projects between New Hope Club and P1Harmony.
On YouTube, you’ll find official P1Harmony vocal and dance covers of popular songs from artists like Conan Grey, Olivia Rodrigo, and Billie Eilish. These come under the category of ‘P1ustyle H.’ We all know how aesthetics like hair color play an important role in the K-Pop world, especially when introducing new albums.
What makes P1Harmony super unique is that they would often reveal to fans their new looks through P1ustyle H videos. The members have also openly shared the creative process behind creating P1ustyle H covers. From pitching songs they want to cover, creating mood boards for the aesthetic, and rewriting verses to include original raps. It’s a pretty impressive project that showcases their art in a stand-alone way.
P1-Post: P1Harmony Create Original Songs From Fan Stories
One thing P1Harmony does so well is acknowledge the importance of their fanbase, P1ece. They often do this by giving fans the opportunity to provide prompts on specific topics, and the members take the lead in writing and composing songs based on these fan stories. Inspired by a postbox, this project is called P1-Post, and they bring fan stories to life with original music. It’s truly a one-of-a-kind interaction with their fans in a really unique way.
