10 of Our Favorite Dreamcatcher Special Clips

There’s not one moment to get bored when you stan Dreamcatcher. Ever since their debut, Dreamcatcher has put out special clips for covers, performance videos, self-made clips, original songs, and so much more. You never know when one of them will drop; so many have marked us for life. These are only 10 of those special clips that everyone needs to watch!

‘Red Sun’

It isn’t uncommon for Dreamcatcher to release performance videos for some of their b-sides. And while many of those b-sides are really iconic, the special clip we cannot forget is the one for ‘Red Sun.’ Not only is this one of our favorite songs out of their first full-length album but also it was choreographed by SuA. What made it extra special was that the girls had fun wearing different iconic outfits of their different eras before ‘Red Sun.’ This choreography, this song, the ultimate Halloween vibes… ‘Red Sun,’ you will always be famous.

JiU’s ‘Event Horizon’

‘Event Horizon’ has been covered by so many idols, and honestly… we get it. It’s such an amazing song but also a tough one to sing. JiU took her spin on the song and blew us away with this one. Even though we already know of JiU’s powerful and warm vocals, her cover of ‘Event Horizon’ is truly something else. She sings like there’s no tomorrow and makes us feel every single word of the song. She’s a singer, she sings.

SuA’s ‘Copycat’

There are many reasons why SuA should be at the top of everyone’s best dancers in K-Pop lists, and here’s one of them. ‘Red Sun’ is not the only song SuA has choreographed. She also covered Billie Eilish‘s ‘COPYCAT’ but didn’t do only vocals, she also reinvented the song completely and added a choreography that still lives rent-free in our minds. She truly gave a new life to this song and changed our lives along with it.

Siyeon’s ‘Speechless’

How could we possibly talk about Dreamcatcher‘s special clips without mentioning Siyeon’s cover of ‘Speechless?’ No words could ever describe just how much this cover hits. Her vocals are always powerful, grandiose, and unforgettable, and ‘Speechless’ is the perfect example of it. Siyeon’s voice will always surprise us. She’s truly one of the best vocalists out there.

Handong’s ‘A Heart of Sunflower,’ ‘Jazz Bar,’ ‘Daydream’ & ‘Polaris’ Medley

Handong did something really special by releasing this medley. Not only did she take some of our favorite Dreamcatcher b-sides to make a beautiful and heartwarming medley, but she also translated the lyrics into Chinese. It was a beautiful gift and such a special thing for her to share with us. We could genuinely never get tired of listening to Handong’s sweet yet powerful vocals.

JiU, SuA & Yoohyeon’s ‘Taki Taki’

Can you tell we love SuA’s choreographies? Because yes, this is another one. And how could we possibly not include it? JiU, SuA, and Yoohyeon’s choreography for ‘Taki Taki’ may be less than 2 minutes long, but it was enough to change the course of our lives. And it will do the same for you. They ate. There’s no better way to say it. Everyone should watch this at least once in their lives.

Yoohyeon’s ‘Secret Love Song’

Yoohyeon has covered a lot of different songs we’ve loved through the years. But there will always be something extra special about her cover of Little Mix‘s ‘Secret Love Song.’ Her vocals are powerful, full of emotion, and heart-wrenching, and to think she did this only a few months after Dreamcatcher’s debut makes it even better. This song has become an anthem and a very special song for the LGBTQ+ community. Knowing Yoohyeon, it is no surprise she decided to cover this one. It’s one of the many ways Dreamcatcher has shown endless support to the community. So yeah, no matter how many years pass, this one will always be close to our hearts.

Dami’s ‘Butterfly’

Dami is no stranger to participating in writing the lyrics for her raps in Dreamcatcher‘s songs, and we’re always obsessed with her lyrics. ‘Butterfly’ is one of her solo songs. She released this song in honor of her dog, who unfortunately passed away, and gave us one of the most beautiful songs ever. Mixing her emotional and vulnerable rapping with her vocals, ‘Butterfly’ still brings us to tears. And we’ll forever be grateful she shared such a personal song with us and with the world.

Gahyeon’s ‘This Right Now’

Gahyeon’s first solo special clip is still probably the most special one for us. Her choice of song was just genius. Her vocals fit incredibly well in this IU song, highlighting her soft, fun, and cute vocals. It was a match made in heaven. While she usually shows a darker more mysterious aura when performing with Dreamcatcher, this one is all cutesy and fun. And we do love the versatility in this house.

‘Lucky Strike’

And of course, last but definitely not least: the definition of iconic. Dreamcatcher simply shook the world with their cover of ‘Lucky Strike’ only a few weeks after their debut. It could be considered one of the many hints we had from the beginning that they would be shaking the industry. They added an addictive choreography and changed the song for us forever. Dreamcatcher made a stand with this cover. It’s been almost seven years, and we’re still stuck here. If anyone asks, this is an original song by Dreamcatcher, by the way.
