7 Times TXT’s Performances Took Over America

From their debut showcase to their third world tour, ACT: PROMISE, TXT has always had a big fanbase in North America. They were the first K-Pop group to have their debut album enter the Billboard 200, and now they have had ten albums in that chart! With this level of chart and tour success, it’s no surprise that TXT’s stateside performances live up to the hype, too!

In the middle of the U.S. leg of ACT: PROMISE, TXT took a pit stop at Good Morning America, performing ‘Deja Vu,’ from TOMORROW. And it got us thinking! What are some of our other favorite stateside stages from tubatu? So…we won’t keep you waiting any longer!

‘Magic’ On The Late Show With Stephen Colbert

TXT did a lot of stateside promo for ‘Magic,’ their first all-English single, and this particular stage has to be one of our faves. From Yeonjun’s poolside strut to start it off, all the way to the very last “If you’ve got a broken heart, just take a chance,” we love every single second!

‘Good Boy Gone Bad’ On The Kelly Clarkson Show

Listen, who wouldn’t love this performance, even for the outfits alone? We’re obsessed with the styling and the set of this ‘Good Boy Gone Bad’ stage! We still remember when this went viral, even with non-MOAs, for how strong TXT’s vocals are.

Lollapalooza 2022

Next is a TXT performance so iconic, there’s a documentary about it, too! TXT’s first festival stage in America was a record-breaker; they were the first K-Pop group to perform at Lollapalooza! Their setlist was perfect from start to finish, and we’re still reeling from it. The best day of Taehyun’s life? Ok, us too.

New Years Rockin’ Eve Live

Will we ever tire of ‘0x1=LOVESONG?’ No, so let’s count our blessings that TXT love performing it just as much as we love to watch them perform it! Just before the TEMPTATION era began, which saw TXT’s popularity in America (and across the world, TBH) skyrocket, they brought the energy to NYRE!

Lollapalooza 2023

We told you that TXT’s stages are elite-tier, and we’re not the only ones who think it. A year after their first time at Lollapalooza, tubatu were back, but this time as headliners! The first K-Pop group to headline Lolla, and TXT somehow managed to level up even more from the year before!

‘Back For More’ At MTV VMAs

There is absolutely no parallel universe (not even one where TXT are possibly Yeonjun’s imaginary friends, or Beomgyu can’t stop falling off bikes, or anything) where we would’ve left this performance off this list. TXT debuted the then-unreleased collaboration with ANITTA on the VMAs, and we were never the same again.

‘Deja Vu’ On Good Morning America

Of course, we’re starting where we finished – with TXT and ‘Deja Vu’ on GMA! We’re down bad for literally every performance of ‘Deja Vu’ we can set our eyes upon, and this one is no exception! The mics were on, to the point you could hear their clothes rustle, and we’ll never turn down an opportunity to hear TXT’s live vocals!
