It’s our favorite time of the week again! We are back with the best of what’s new in music this week! We have everyone from Greyson Chance to the new Kelsea Ballerini x Noah Kahan collab, and so much more! Let’s jump in!
daysormay – ‘IN BUT NOT OF’
There isn’t a better way to kick off this round up than with one of our favorite up and coming groups, daysormay! ‘IN BUT NOT OF’ comes as a taste of what we can expect off of the bands upcoming record, MODERATION, which will be blessing our ears in September. Now, in our opinion, is the perfect time to jump on the daysormay train, as if the rest of the record follows suit of this release we have a feeling the response is going to be huge.

Crash Adams – ‘Hotel Party’
If you have opened TikTok in recent memory there is a near certainty that you have seen Crash Adams on Hollywood Blvd being a launching pad for some of the most incredible freestyling we’ve heard! And while those videos showcase incredible talent, they don’t even scratch the genius behind Crash Adams! After hearing ‘Hotel Party’ and knowing it was going to be one of those songs that soundtracked our summer, we did a discography deep-dive and are now obsessed!

Knox – ‘Treadmill’
Knox has taken over our playlists ever since ‘Sneakers’ came out, every release since has been a slam dunk! ‘Treadmill’ of course, continues that streak! This track was originally written for the Jonas Brothers, and while we will never say no to new music from our favorite trio, we couldn’t imagine anyone but Knox on this track! Feel-good alt-pop is at its best right here.

Kelsea Ballerini & Noah Kahan – ‘Cowboys Cry Too’
Okay, it’s official, we have found the collaboration we will never recover from.
Taking the two artists who have soundtracked so much of our lives recently (Kelsea with Rolling Up The Welcome Mat, and Noah with Stick Season) and putting them on one track is something therapists everywhere are going to hear about. ‘Cowboys Cry Too’ showcases both Kelsea and Noah at their strongest, vocally and with their storytelling. If they want to mess around and make an entire album, we will be forever indebted.

Clairo – ‘Nomad’
We are only two short weeks out from a new Clairo album, and any calm that was remaining within us is completely gone after hearing ‘Nomad.’ Charm having both ‘Nomad’ and ‘Sexy to Someone‘ already has it poised to be our favorite Clairo project yet, and there are still nine songs we haven’t heard!

Towa Bird – American Hero
The day is finally here! Towa Bird has released her debut album and it’s better than we ever could have anticipated! American Hero is thirteen songs long, which is the perfect sweet spot for a record, and is front to back a masterpiece! We are still on a relistening spree, but as of now ‘A Party,’ and ‘Wild Heart’ are the contenders for favorite song on the album!

Bebe Rexha
If you’re someone who hasn’t been keeping tabs on Bebe Rexha’s recent releases, do yourself a favor and make ‘I’m The Drama’ the moment you start paying close attention! Bebe has always had a deep understanding both of the pop genre and of who she wants to be as an artist, and that is only becoming more and more clear.

Joshua Bassett – ‘Dancing With Tears In My Eyes’
We have never been quiet about how much we love Joshua Bassett, and honestly, we will probably never shut up about it. Joshua is such an honest artist and really lets listeners into the time in his life that his music is capturing. It’s a beautifully rare thing. ‘Dancing With Tears In My Eyes’ does just this, and seamlessly.

Greyson Chance – ‘Haymaker’
Greyson Chance is a one of a kind artist. It’s that simple. The ways he’s been able to tell such personal stories in his music, like the story of a conflict within his family here on ‘Haymaker,’ is second to none. This isn’t a new skill of Greyson’s and has been on display since the beginning. After ‘Rearview Mirror‘ and ‘Haymaker’ we can already tell this upcoming record is going to be something out of our musical dreams.

Maude Latour – ‘Comedown’
Maude Latour is a pop princess, it’s that simple. We have been raving about Maude Latour for so long that our thoughts should come as no surprise. We are constantly on the hunt for artists, that really understand what the modern pop scene is, and what its listeners are looking for, and Maude has somehow managed nail that while staying authentic. ‘Comedown’ is an unreal example of that.

GAYLE – ‘internet baby’
We have been obsessed with GAYLE since day one, and ‘internet baby’ is a perfect example of why! From the witty lyrics, which are always on display, to GAYLE’s constantly evolving vocals, the whole package is a win. After seeing GAYLE own the Eras Tour stage the way she did we have known her star power was undeniable.

Amy Shark – ‘Two Friends’
‘Two Friends’ may have made its way up to being in our top three Amy Shark releases of all time, and that is high praise! This release has us more excited than ever over Amy’s upcoming album, Sunday Sadness, which is coming in August!! Amy has been a longtime favorite of ours, and it never gets old seeing her grow in her songwriting (which seems impossible given the level it’s always been at) and get her flowers.

Daya – ‘Don’t Call’
We will shout from any rooftop that Daya is one of the greatest artists of the last decade! The understanding of the pop genre, and the ability to reinvent her sound, it all blows us away with every release. After listening to ‘Don’t Call’ we knew it was the only way to round out our new music recommendations, we have a feeling this song is going to work as a catapult for Daya in ways that ‘Hide Away’ did.
