Honeybees, if there’s one thing we’re going to do, it’s celebrate underrated, rising artists that we love for Pride. There are many amazing LGBTQ+ artists out there. One thing they all have in common is that they’re not afraid to be themselves. Some of them use their voice to speak out against the patriarchy. Others use their voice to let others know they’re not alone. Whatever the case, we love finding new artists to add to our playlists. Here are 12 rising LGBTQ+ artists we think you should check out.
I Am Roze
Soulful and uplifting are two words we would use to describe nonbinary artist I Am Roze. Roze is a contemporary R&B artist who’s only been releasing their own music since 2023, but is here to stay. They’ve gotten co-signs from several music artists, including Summer Walker. Roze has even had A COLORS SHOW performance.
When talking to ColorsxStudios, they explained, “My music is like a diary entry—deeply personal, but it also connects with others who might be going through the same thing.” The common themes found in their music include hope, resilience, and society. Since their debut in 2023, they’ve released several songs and two EPs. I Am Roze’s latest release was on June 19 with their single, ‘Redo.’ Roze might not have an album to their name, but we can truly say we can’t wait to see what’s in store for them.

Delilah Bon
Feminine rage, unapologetic, and ready to start a riot if she wants to. We’re talking about self-proclaimed (and we agree!) BI-CON Delilah Bon. She calls her music “Brat Punk.” She’s not entirely new to the music world. In fact, Delilah got her start in the industry as the frontwoman of the band Hands Off Gretel. Now she’s doing her own thing as a singer, songwriter, rapper, and producer.
She has anthems for days. The common themes in her music include sexism, feminism, and empowerment. She’s against the patriarchy and isn’t afraid to make that known through her lyrics. She uses her voice for those who can’t for one reason or another. And if anyone has a problem with that? She isn’t afraid to call them out.
She has two albums to her name and plenty of songs that will make you want to unleash your inner rage. Currently, she’s getting ready to tour Europe, the UK, Australia, and Canada. She unfortunately had to cancel her US tour due to safety concerns.

Infinite Coles
Melodic and introspective are the words to describe Infinite Cole’s music. If you search for Infinite Cole’s name, you’ll find he’s the estranged son of Wu-Tang Clan member Ghostface Killah. He’s also the nephew of RZA. However, don’t let his family background fool you. Infinite Coles is a talented Black gay singer and rapper.
He’s a storyteller with his music. Infinite Coles isn’t afraid of addressing his relationship with his dad through his music. The common themes in his songs include self-discovery, growth, and relationships. His music is a blend of hip hop, ballroom, and R&B. He released his debut album, SweetFace Killah, in October 2025 and has since been booked and busy appearing at a few festivals and other shows as part of his SweetFace Killah Summer Takeover.

Her songs feel like a confessional ripped from her journal or diary. They’re songs that could be played during a coming-of-age TV show or movie. Currently, Sofia’s on a mini summer tour consisting of festivals and shows supporting other artists such as Bastille and The Beaches.

Vulnerable and theatrical are two vibes you get from Vienna Vienna’s music. Vienna is an alt-rock queer artist who describes his music as “glimmer rock.” If you need a solid reason to check out his music, he gained a co-sign from Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy.
He’s an artist who’s not afraid to address issues such as toxic masculinity or homophobia. The common themes found in his music include self-acceptance, empowerment, and relationships. ‘Grief Is For The Living’ is Vienna Vienna’s latest song, having been released on May 22, 2026. Currently, he is getting ready to do a few dates of The Warped Tour 2026. On top of that, he will be touring in the UK and Europe in September.

Emei
Candid and theatrical are two words that describe Emei. Emei is an alternative pop singer and songwriter whom we wouldn’t mind going down the ‘RABBITHOLE’ with. The singer has appeared on shows such as China’s Dancing With The Stars and Chinese Idol when she was just a teen.
Emei’s music is relatable. She has songs that many people can relate to without trying. In an interview with BeatRoute, she explained: “I would say most of my songs are journal entries.” Her music explores themes of mental health, relationships, and everyday life. She has plenty of songs, two EPs, and an album to her name. Her latest release was her EP, Night at the Opera, which just dropped on June 12. While we don’t know if there’s a second album in the works, Emei will be embarking on her Nights at the Opera Tour in the US this fall. Who knows, though? Maybe after the tour, she’ll announce one. We can dream, right?

Carter James
If there’s one cool thing about the next artist on our list, it’s that they graduated from Berklee College of Music. It might not be a big deal to most people, but to people who love music? It’s a pretty big deal. Ethereal and hypnotic are two words to describe Carter James’ vibe. If you read his Instagram bio, you would see he labels his music as “dark pop dressed in dreams.” He’s more than just a singer. He’s also a songwriter and producer who’s written and produced music for other artists.
Common themes found in Carter’s music include romance, mental health, and identity. He released his debut album, Holding Your Hand Like a Grudge, on December 9, 2025. Since then, he released a new single titled ‘404’ on April 4, 2026. Carter is currently working on, in his own words, “learning to embrace the cringe as an independent artist again,” and getting ready to release more music soon.

Intimate and vulnerable are words we would use to describe SAILORR’s vibe. SAILORR is a Vietnamese singer, songwriter, and producer who makes alternative R&B music. When it comes to her music, there’s also a splash of pop and neo-soul. She’s gotten co-signs from Summer Walker, who appears on the remix to her song ‘POOKIE’S REQUIEM,’ and she’s featured on a song with her and Halle Bailey.
Common themes found in SAILORR’s music include relationships, heartbreak, and empowerment. She hasn’t been around for long, but it doesn’t seem like she has any plans on stopping. She’s released several songs throughout the years and has one mixtape to her name. Her latest release, FROM FLORIDA’S FINEST DELU/XXX [for my delusional ex], was released on December 5, 2025, and is the deluxe version of her debut mixtape.

Emotional and intimate are two words to describe the next artist’s vibe. Who’s the artist? Tedy. Tedy’s a Haiti-born gay singer and songwriter. Before he became a music artist, he made videos on YouTube under the name “Reaction Response King.” Ultimately, Tedy realized it was music he’d rather be doing.
Tedy sees his music as a diary. The common themes in his songs include self-reflection, heartbreak, and healing. His music is an unapologetic blend of pop, R&B, and soul. Since becoming an artist, he’s performed live at a Tate McRae show in 2020. His second album, Scandalous, was released in November 2025. In early 2026, Billboard Canada named him one of the Canadian Artists to Watch.

While we’ve talked about Young Miko a few times, we still feel she deserves a place on our list of rising LGBTQ+ artists. Young Miko is a Puerto Rican rapper, singer, and songwriter. Her music is a mixture of reggaeton, Latin trap, and alternative.
She’s unapologetically a lesbian and unafraid to be playful in her music. The common themes found in her music include relationships, intimacy, and empowerment. Young Miko has three albums to her name. Her latest album, Do Not Disturb, was released in November 2025. While she could’ve stopped there, she also released a deluxe version of the album titled Do Not Disturb: Late Night Checkout on May 29, 2026. Currently, she’s getting ready for a headline tour through Europe, the UK, and the US.

Playful and campy are two words that explain this country group’s vibe. If you haven’t heard of The Cowgays until today, there’s a reason. They haven’t been around for long. In fact, they only surfaced this year! However, you might’ve heard of The Cowgays’ members. The group consists of Brooke Eden, Adam Mac, and Chris Housman.
Individually, they’ve been doing their own thing and making waves with their careers. Together, they’re trying to do the same thing as a music group made up of queer friends. They don’t have many songs to their name, but so far, the themes found in their songs include queer joy, self-expression, and love.

Dreamer Isioma
Eccentric and confident are two words to describe Dreamer Isioma’s vibe. Dreamer Isioma is a transmasculine, non-binary alternative R&B singer and songwriter. Some of our favorites have co-signed them, such as Janelle Monae, SZA, Doja Cat, and Kali Uchis. There have been others, but that’s to name a few.
They’ve been around for years now with countless songs under their belt and four albums to their name. Dreamer Isioma’s music has the power to take you to another place. Their music has a dreamlike soundscape. The common themes found through their music include relationships, introspection, and fantasy.
Their latest release was their fourth album, Quantum Entanglement, which was just released on June 18. In an Instagram post about the album, they described it as “my blackest and gayest album; psychedelic r&b. its themes are centered around healing and connection.”
