Stray Kids have many songs to fit every season, and in the past few years, they’ve extended their style and sound through their solo music. It doesn’t come as a shock to anyone that, just like their group songs, there’s a Stray Kids solo song for everything. As fall arrives, the cold settles in, the leaves fall, and we welcome hoodie season, here are some solo songs that will set the perfect mood in your fall playlist this year.
‘Railway’ by Bang Chan
It may not be fall everywhere in the world, but it is definitely Halloween everywhere, and there needs to be at least one song to fit that aspect of the October season. Leave it up to Bang Chan to create a song that is mysterious, dark, and has an original take on the Vampire concept that truly fits Halloween. Both the obscure, luring vibes and the imagery behind ‘Railway‘ make it the perfect song to have on repeat in October, wherever you are in the world.
‘Limbo’ by Lee Know
‘Limbo‘ by Lee Know: you will always be famous. Lee Know‘s first solo song has left such a big impact, and the level of beauty this ballad reaches is beyond words. Fall, just like Spring, feels like a limbo between summer and winter: it’s when the heat hasn’t left, but you can already feel the cold breeze, and what better song than ‘Limbo‘ to listen to when you’re not sure where you stand. Even with its heartbreaking lyrics, Lee Know makes ‘Limbo’ such a warm-hearted song with his voice, and it’ll make you feel like you’re in a movie scene during the fall.
‘Streetlight’ by Changbin
As the days get shorter and we slowly get less sunlight every day, ‘Streetlight‘ feels like the exact song we need. Changbin‘s first solo song explored his artistry in a way that felt not only new but also showed a moment of raw vulnerability. With his words, ‘Streetlight‘ is one of the most relatable and touching songs, and it makes you feel understood in the darkest days.
‘hey you’ by Hyunjin
Fall can be about darkness and the light dimming, but there’s so much beauty about this season too. It’s the perfect time to go on long walks when the sun isn’t too bright, but it’s not cold yet. It’s when you can see the nature around you change little by little. And what better song to accompany you than ‘hey you‘ by Hyunjin. He knows exactly how to set a scene with his music. ‘hey you‘ is a beautiful, laid-back, comfy love song where Hyunjin explores falling in love at first sight. It’ll bring nothing but beauty to your fall days.
‘Human’ by Han
There’s a Han song for every single occasion, mostly because each of his songs is perfect for every day, but the one that feels the most like fall has to be ‘Human.’ Released for his birthday in 2024, ‘Human‘ explores the complexity of growing up and overcoming struggles. It has that light to it while remaining grounded. The atmosphere of this song feels inspiring and warm in ways only Han could really capture in a song.
‘Slow It Down’ by Felix
Felix released ‘Slow It Down’ right in time for it to be the song we loop this fall. Between the raw vulnerability and the surprising and infectious melodies of this solo song, ‘Slow It Down‘ feels like the perfect hug during darkening days. His low voice mixed with the guitar riff makes for the perfect atmosphere. His other songs like ‘Deep End’ and ‘UNFAIR‘ have that perfect winter vibe, but ‘Slow It Down’ feels just slightly brighter to fit the cold breeze of fall and the rays of sunshine too.
‘Here Always’ by Seungmin
The setting is October 2021. Stray Kids just had their biggest comeback yet with NOEASY, and they’re about to release the life-changing Japanese comeback, Scars. And in the middle of all of that, Seungmin releases his first OST: ‘Here Always.’ Truth is that most Seungmin songs fit the fall season perfectly thanks to his warm honey voice and the infectious, comforting melodies he creates, but something about ‘Here Always‘ brings us right back to that October 2021. And every year it is a must-listen. Even if you weren’t there when it was released, it’s never too late to let it be your perfect fall OST.
‘The Little Things’ by I.N
The fall can be that time in the year when you feel a bit stuck in a routine, and that’s when a song like ‘The Little Things‘ feels like the perfect gift. Han wrote this song about appreciating the everyday things that we take for granted and recognizing that happiness comes from the smallest things. Having I.N sing this song makes it even more brilliant, as he brings that joy and free-spirited energy that only I.N can carry with his voice. Just as you hear the smile in I.N‘s singing, it’ll feel like the best song to take you out of the rot that the beginning of the cold season can drag you into.
