Our Dream Setlist As Stray Kids Dominate Europe With Two Major Summer Festivals

STRAY KIDS EVERYWHERE ALL AROUND THE WORLD! This summer, Stray Kids will be heading to Europe to perform at two major festivals, and we are so stoked! The K-POP icons will be performing at I-Days Milano in Italy and BST Hyde Park in London this July. They will be the first K-POP group to headline I-Days Milano and the first ever K-POP boy group to headline BST Hyde Park, following BLACKPINK‘s headlining show last year. European STAY are beyond hyped for these two major performances, as are we at The Honey POP!

Speaking about the upcoming festivals, the 4th gen legends shared: “This is our first time performing at a UK festival, and it is such an honor to play in Hyde Park where so many legends have played before us.”

“We are so excited to [also] announce we will finally be coming to Italy on July 12th at I-Days Milan. We can’t wait to see all of you there!”

The demand for I-Days Milano was so phenomenal that there has since been a venue change from a 20k capacity to an 80k capacity. Now that’s what we call legend behavior!

With this exciting double announcement, we have been absolutely buzzing with excitement and have been spending time at THP HQ spitballing ideas for what would be our dream setlist. Chan, if you’re in need of any help making leader decisions, you know where we’re at!

‘MEGAVERSE’

What would be a better song than ‘MEGAVERSE‘ to start a festival set with? This song is the anthem that encapsulates everything Stray Kids is all about. Getting Felix’s deep voice saying “Welcome to the Stray Kids hot Megaverse” as a first song seems only right. Plus, what better way to open a festival set than with a song that incorporates their slogan, “Stray Kids everywhere all around the world?” The song is energetic, exciting, and the perfect way to welcome STAY to what is set to be one of the most memorable nights of their lives! ‘MEGAVERSE’ was made to be a grand opening, and this is its chance.

‘VENOM’

A great way to follow up the power and energy ‘MEGAVERSE’ holds would be yet another of their most iconic b-sides: ‘VENOM.’ With an instrumental to die for, ‘VENOM’ has a feeling and vibe unique to Stray Kids. It’s another album opener that totally sets the tone for ODDINARY, and getting it right after ‘MEGAVERSE’ would be incredible.

‘MANIAC’

Of course, this iconic title track can’t be missed from the setlist. And there are two songs that always need to go together in a good Stray Kids setlist: ‘VENOM’ followed by ‘MANIAC.’ It is just perfect. ‘MANIAC’ is guaranteed to have everyone singing at the top of their lungs and having the time of their lives. And everyone deserves to see Changbin‘s popping live at least once. It changes lives.

‘Thunderous’

‘Thunderous’ is such a grand performance; we just know it’s going to be incredible at the festivals! Stray Kids are known for their incredible stages, but there’s something about this song that really feels powerful and vigorous. It’s the perfect blend of hip-hop, trap, and traditional Korean instruments paying homage to their homeland, and it’s just perfect to pique the interest of casual festival-goers, not to mention a favorite of STAY! The energy will be pure electric, and the vibes will be immaculate.

‘Side Effects’

If the atmosphere wasn’t already fire, it’s going to be kicked up a notch with ‘Side Effects.’ This oldie but goldie came from Clé 2: Yellow Wood in 2019. And while we might be screaming “meori apeuda,” it’ll probably be our throats that hurt from just how psyched we get. And when that beat drops, we just know it’s going to be pure fire!

‘Case 143’

To bring a bit of pop and brightness into the mix, we think ‘Case 143‘ would be an excellent song for a summer festival. It just has that brightness and uplifting energy that everyone needs. This title track is unlike any other in Stray Kids’ discography, and it would be a great addition to the setlist, with so many iconic parts in the lyrics to sing along to.

‘God’s Menu’

‘God’s Menu’ is a classic, and we know that Stray Kids will be absolutely serving with this one on the setlist and satisfying all five of our senses. It’s one of the songs that is a rite of passage for any STAY to witness live and just does not get old no matter how many times they perform it. Even for first-time listeners, it’s one song that’s very easy to join in with on the “DU DU DU DU DU DU.” Not to mention, there’ll be thousands of fans in the audience yelling out, “NE SOMNIM!” so loud we’re looking forward to seeing how far it can be heard from outside of the venue.

‘3RACHA’

Of course, we expect there will be a 3RACHA performance, and we can’t help but think about their self-titled track being the perfect song, in particular for London, because drill music is so popular in the UK. We just know the audience will be screaming back: “MY BOYS’ SPITTIN’ FACTS, THEY’RE LOCKED AND LOADED,” and it’ll be such fierce energy that’ll raise the (metaphorical) roof off of both festivals. It’ll definitely be a song that will grab the attention of people attending the festival casually or to keep their STAY loved ones company.

‘LA LA LA LA’

The latest title track from Stray Kids (though we’re fully aware a comeback is likely to drop before the festivals) is highly likely going to feature on the set list, and honestly, we’re so stoked to feel the rhythm of the world as they let it rock! When those first few piano notes hit, we just know the crowd is going to go wild and get hyped, reciting the fan chant and relishing in the atmosphere.

‘S-Class’

We need to “Gabo Jago” in ‘LALALALA,’  but we also need to scream “We’re special” at the top of our lungs in the bridge of ‘S-Class.’ We’re aware that putting one song after the other would have us gasping for air, but also, what better song to meet the energy that ‘LALALALA’ brings than ‘S-Class?’ One thing is for sure: London and Milan both deserve to be swerving, speeding on serpent road.

‘Topline’ ft Tiger JK

‘Topline’ maintains the high energy from the last few songs; this bouncy boom-bap hip-hop number is one we think rap fans new to the Stray Kids universe will be hooked on. The crowd will be grooving to the beat, arms swaying back and forth, and “BOM DIGI DIGI BOM BOM BOM BOM”-ing their hearts out.

‘Hall Of Fame’

‘Hall Of Fame’ has to go down in history as one of Stray Kids’ best b-sides. The 5-STAR opener shook everyone. We could go on for days about the genius behind the lyrics and the production, but it all comes down to the fact that ‘Hall Of Fame’ in a festival would truly represent how Stray Kids have written their name in the stars and how they’re shaking the industry. We didn’t get this one last year for Lollapalooza Paris, but to have Stray Kids perform it as headliners for another massive festival would make history.

‘The View’

‘The View’ is such a summery song, and with these festivals taking place in July, we can really see it being such a perfect song choice that encapsulates that euphoric feeling at festivals. Not to mention, Europe, especially the UK, are massive fans of EDM. This Stray Kids song is one that just fits that stereotypical festival feeling and is sure to grab the attention of those who have yet to move to Stayville.

‘Super Board’

Out of their 2022 mini-album, MAXIDENT, ‘Super Board’ is one of Stray Kids’ most fun songs. Stray Kids are amazing performers, and watching them devour choreographies will always be mind-blowing. But Stray Kids are also great performers in the way they interact with the public. ‘Super Board‘ is one of the songs where they let themselves loose and interact with everyone, making us feel the connection between Stray Kids and Stays. Songs like these are a must in Stray Kids’ setlist.

‘My Pace’

Throwing it back to the early days with ‘My Pace’ will be a wonderful way for older STAY to reminisce with newer fans truly becoming more acquainted with their discography. It’s nearing the end of the set, but ensuring that the vibes will be at an all-time high, there is no time to lull or get too relaxed. It’s SKZ time, and we are going to remain high-spirited til the end!

‘MIROH’

Since 2019, ‘MIROH’ has been an essential in Stray Kids’ history and discography. And even though it can now be considered an oldie, no energy compares to what ‘MIROH’ does when it plays. There’s something truly cathartic and magical about screaming “Stray Kids” at the top of your lungs with everyone around. ‘MIROH’ is simply a must in every Stray Kids setlist, no matter how much time passes. The iconic EDM drop and the addictive melodies will have even non-Stays dancing and jumping around like they never have before.

‘Haven’

We believe ‘Haven’ is the perfect ending to a perfect night, and Stray Kids know it. This 2020 track is the representation of the safe place Stray Kids create through their music and performance. ‘Haven’ literally makes everyone in the crowd feel like they can do whatever they want. ‘Haven’ has been the closing song for many of their concerts, and it’s one of Stray Kids’ most special songs for a reason.
