You heard it here first: “It’s the most mysterious time of the year!” We love to rewatch those music videos that give us chills throughout this month. After our daily watch parties, we constantly ask ourselves: What tracks from our favorite albums deserve a spooky music video? We have been planning these visuals all year long, and we’re ready to pitch them to these artists. If you’re anything like us, sit back, get your popcorn (and a notepad to write them down), and enjoy our horror-inspired ideas!
5 Seconds of Summer – ‘Bloodhound’
We’re starting off with our biggest dream of all time: a ‘Bloodhound’ video. There are just so many lyrics that scream “spooky” to us (who includes verses like “he sunk his teeth into the bone” and “take off your mask on Halloween” and not expect us to create visuals that are inspired by our favorite horror creatures?). As the song includes feelings of not letting go, we were thinking about a love story with a werewolf. It could be a funny idea to create, as we could include scenes of the werewolf doing pretty obvious werewolf-y things while the humans are oblivious of him. Yes, we know, we have the greatest imagination ever. 5SOS just have to hire us at this point!

j-hope – ‘Pandora’s Box’
We thank the universe every day for living at the same time as j-hope and his incredible Jack In The Box. And we can’t help but expand the visual universe Hobi started with the album art style and his music videos for ‘MORE’ and ‘Arson.’ It would be so incredible to see a video for ‘Pandora’s Box,’ not only because we get chills every time we listen to it, but also because imagining Hobi physically appearing from the box in question would be the perfect introduction to the visual part of the album. We will be rewatching the iconic Hobipalooza until Hobi returns from his service and keeps creating amazing projects!

TWICE – ‘CRY FOR ME’
Okay, maybe we’re using this article as an excuse to fulfill our wishes of getting a music video for ‘CRY FOR ME.’ Just maybe. But can you blame us? This song is one of the most beloved TWICE singles, and we think it deserves more recognition! We would love to see the TWICE members embrace their most gothic style with this song, with similar outfits as the ones they wear when they perform this song on stage. We associate this song with their Eyes Wide Open era, so we would love to see those red and black tones from the ‘I CAN’T STOP ME’ music video. Could we connect these two concepts together? 👀 The possibilities are endless!

ITZY – ‘Kill Shot’
We’re majorly obsessed with ITZY’s latest comeback, so we had to include our favorite B-side from it on this list. Their performance on the showcase inspired us to imagine a music video where the ITZY girls would be the most bad*ss zombie hunters! We would love to see every member with different weapons, clearing abandoned buildings from any monsters they encounter. We also can’t get enough of the verses that include their deeper vocals, so we already know that they would create cool, cinematic ways of slaying these zombies (while looking absolutely amazing, of course!).

Sabrina Carpenter – ‘Tornado Warnings’
We still can’t get over the masterpieces that emails i can’t send has given us, so we’re proposing a music video for one of our favorite Sabrina tracks ever. What’s spookier than not getting over that person that drives you crazy? Instead of adding fantasy creatures into this music video, we think we could recreate those ‘Tornado Warnings’ that Sabrina keeps ignoring with this song. Could we also add a tornado with big special effects and maybe make it consume the therapist’s office that’s referenced throughout the track? Sabrina, you have to contact us ASAP to make our idea come to life!
