Olivia Rodrigo captured our hearts with raw songs like ‘drivers license’ and ‘traitor’ throughout 2021, and going into 2022, she’s gonna be taking her debut album, SOUR, on tour! Her SOUR Tour will kick off in San Francisco in April before stopping in cities like Detroit, New York, London, and even Birmingham. We can’t believe the day is almost here that we’ll get to hear Olivia perform her album live! And even better, she’s bringing the talented Gracie Abrams, Holly Humberstone, and Baby Queen as supporting acts.
You can get your tickets on Olivia’s website starting December 10th, but in the meantime, come dream up the perfect setlist with us! Here are five of our picks, and here’s live footage of us with our fingers crossed hoping to hear these songs in concert:
‘brutal’
We can’t think of a better opener than the punk-influenced ‘brutal!’ And Olivia knows its opener potential, considering it’s the first song on SOUR. ‘brutal’ would be the perfect way to get the crowd hyped up for the rest of the show.
‘happier’ / ‘deja vu’
As much as we’d love to hear ‘happier’ and ‘deja vu’ in their entirety, it’d be amazing to get to finally hear the mashup from SOUR Prom live! ‘happier’ and ‘deja vu’ both see Olivia addressing an ex who moved on with someone new, and this mashup is still one of the best things we’ve ever heard.
‘favorite crime’
Olivia’s vocals are absolutely surreal on ‘favorite crime,’ so it’d be a crime for her not to include it on the SOUR Tour setlist! It’d also be magical to hear the pretty harmonies with her backing vocalists, as well as getting to scream along with some of the best lyrics to date.
‘drivers license’
It’s hard to believe that Olivia only put out ‘drivers license’ this year, but she did! Performing the song on the SOUR Tour would be such a bittersweet moment, reflecting on the hard times she got through while celebrating the massive success she’s found in such a short period.
‘good 4 u’
‘good 4 u’ would be the perfect energetic closer! It would leave the audience with such a post-show buzz and we can totally picture confetti falling down on the last chorus. It’d be so cathartic to scream “like a damn sociopath” along with Olivia.
