By now, it’s more than public knowledge that Stray Kids has two Australian members. Bang Chan and Felix were an iconic duo right from the start, not only because they both are from Australia but also because of their strong bond together and how fun their content is. And if you’re not familiar with their game, don’t worry, we got you. Here is some of our favorite Aussie line content to watch – or re-watch (for the millionth time, if you’re like us.)
All Three 2 Kids Room Episodes
A classic when it comes to Stray Kids content. And it’s for a reason. Every single 2 Kids Room hits as it allows us to see each of the Stray Kids pair talk about their friendship, stories, and how important they are to each other. Bang Chan and Felix are one of those pairs who got three separate 2 Kids Room episodes: one in 2018 during their I am YOU era, one in 2019 during ‘Double Knot’ era, and finally one in 2022, right around their ODDINARY era. In other words, we got to see them grow up and grow even closer with each of these. They talk about Australia, behind the scenes, and so much more. No matter what pair, 2 Kids Room is a gem in Stray Kids’ content and a great way to understand their bond.
Every Time Felix Was In Chan’s Room (But More Specifically: Episode 59)
We couldn’t possibly be talking about iconic Aussie line content if we didn’t mention the Chan’s Room episodes in which Felix was a guest. These three episodes were peak comedy, chaotic at best, and the definition of iconic. There’s something about seeing them joke around completely unfiltered. And if there were to be only one to watch, that would be Episode 59 – from right before the release of ‘God’s Menu.’ Not only were they having fun spoiling the choreo while we had no idea, but they also shared behind-the-scenes stories from their trainee days that were very precious. If one thing were to be Stray Kids‘ Aussie line in a nutshell, it would be this.
The August 2020 Vlogs
The vlogs Stray Kids release are always a breath of fresh air. They always show us their point of view of the important events they assist, or sometimes it’s just about their vacation. These vlogs are always simple yet very unique and personal. In the summer of 2020, between the release of GO LIVE and IN LIFE, Stray Kids had a break, and unfortunately, Bang Chan and Felix weren’t able to go to Australia. However, we did get two vlogs of them together during this time, giving a glimpse into Stray Kids‘ more domestic life. Bang Chan showed us the iconic UNO game, and Felix showed us how they baked together and went for a walk. It’s a very comforting yet fun piece of media. It might have been almost four years ago, but it still hits.
Their Cover Of ‘City of Stars’ With ITZY’s Lia
As much as we love to hear their conversations and see them joking around and baking together, Bang Chan and Felix are also incredible artists, and their talents put together are something truly special. They work incredibly well together. In 2021, they covered ‘City of Stars’ of La La Land along with Lia from ITZY. And you guessed it: it was beautiful. The mixture of both of their singing voice matched perfectly with Lia’s. Bang Chan and Felix even covered this song again during their Maniac Tour. One thing is for sure: every time they sing together, we know they were meant to be in a group together.
All About Stray Kids Radio On Apple Music 1
Finally, in anticipation of Stray Kids‘ mini-album, ATE, Bang Chan and Felix came together with Apple Music 1 to host a podcast named All About Stray Kids Radio. The first of four episodes dropped on July 8th, and one episode will be released every week until the end of July. While the first episode only featured Bang Chan and Felix, the rest of the episodes will have other members as guests as well: Lee Know and Seungmin in the second episode, Hyunjin and I.N in the third episode, and finally, Changbin and Han in the fourth and last episode. Because yes, it’s all about Stray Kids.
With the first episode out, we already know this will be one to remember. They talked about their upcoming release, their favorite songs now and growing up, their hobbies, and they gave us a peek into their life. Throughout the episode, we got to listen to them talk about music and joke around – our favorite things to hear. All About Stray Kids Radio is a perfect nutshell of Bang Chan and Felix‘s chemistry and their love for music.
